Related to my recent entry on how to measure site success I ran across this article which is worth a read -

To those who think that I've gone a little photoshop crazy in the processing of my recent entries it's actually a half-hearted jab made at the those photographers who are so trite in their pride at not using photoshop. Why? Post processing isn't evil? Ansel Adams spent as much time and energy in the darkroom as he did behind the camera. He developed the zone system to get the most dramatic print from a situation and getting the correct exposure in the camera is less than half the system. If I were a photojournalist adding or removing people from a situation in PS then I can see how that would be wrong but I'm not trying to capture the documentary truth. I'm just an amateur photographer trying to find beauty or interest in our modern, every day environment. I don't see what is so wrong about using PS to enhance or even to exaggerate what I see to get that across.
