Noon Tree Shadow

Your Waitress (and mine) has hit a milestone and to mark her photoblog's first year she conducted a group survey. As a fan of her photography (and attitude towards it) I was thrilled to take part. The result is long but makes for interesting reading; I still think I come across as a bit of a photo snob but sometimes it's hard to hide your flaws even on the web.

Today's shot taken yesterday on a 5 minute, lunch time photo safari. Actually, you probably can't tell as there's no real foliage in this shot but I was out testing a new IR filter I'd just assembled. Boy, there's a lot of light at noon time in California - I need more neutral density filters.
