Another little piece of site maintenance; I've updated my links page to utilize
the Bloglines' RSS feeds. What does this mean?
It means that my links page
will now stay current with what I'm really watching and visiting.
It also means that I
can't add anyone to my links page who doesn't have an RSS feed. This isn't
a problem for most photobloggers, bloggers and news sites as their content
management software likely provides a feed for them if they have enabled RSS.
If you're a blogger without an RSS feed you're missing a huge audience and
it's time to step out of the stone age. RSS readers are the way anyone who
values their time accesses their favorite sites. Who has time to go to a blog
on the off-chance that it has been updated? With an RSS reader you are alerted
when a site is updated.
The
sites that are now missing from my links are mainly high-concept, high-design
ezines, namely:
