Wow! I just came across Pictobrowser
via Thomas Hawk's blog. It could be an
excellent way to effortlessly add a portfolio to your site or to create
audience-centric portfolios or displays quickly.
After feeling a bit down on my photography at the beginning of
the week I'm bouncing back a bit in part due to the following:
- I think I sold my first stock photo. After submitting a
couple of hundred shots over the past few months the payback is
minuscule (it will pay for a lens hood) but, hey, someone liked one of
my shots enough to want to use it.
- I sold my first print - again the payback isn't enough to
relinquish my amateur status but someone liked one of my prints enough
to want to hang it on their wall.
- I'm getting over still not being able to step up to
L-series lenses and I'm starting to enjoy my new standard zoom.
- My wife has jumped into photography and
photoblogging and is really fired up about the process - her
enthusiasm is infectious.
