I've had this toy car as long as I can remember. As it dates from the 1950s, and I'm not quite that old, it wasn't new when it has handed down to me - it may have even been my father's as it was originally in the play box at my Grandma's for us to play with there. Given cars with such beautifully simple lines to play with I must have been doomed to be a petrol-head. This toy is common in the UK so it is far from valuable to anyone but me; I only have to run it around my desk to be transported back to another time and place. |
