On Sunday I went on the latest photowalking session with Thomas Hawk at the USS Hornet docked at the old Naval base in Alameda. The subject/location provided a lot of challenges (low light and cramped quarters) but also made for great fun too. The museum has a healthily liberal policy towards photographers with lots to see and do. If you're into photography and/or history in any way and find yourself with a free afternoon in the Bay Area I highly recommend making a visit. |
