I'm featuring this old shot today because my
wife prefers it much more than
the previous entry I submitted of this same
surrendering cowboy, tin toy. She's usually a pretty good judge of things
(and people) so I do well to listen to her. Both shots were taken when my
photog buddy and I challenged ourselves to photography one simple item
until we felt we'd exhausted the subject. It's an interesting challenge that
gets you thinking about all the different lighting, angles and photographic
effects (tricks) you can use and well worth spending a couple of hours on if
you have some time to kill. |
